Devin's Biography
When he takes the stage, you sense it: his humility, his
sincerity, his empathy for humanity. And when you talk to
him, you feel like you're the most important person in the
room. Devin has a special way of giving a gentle smile or
encouraging word, and he seems to know just what to
say to expose the ever-present hand of God in that moment.
Not only does he have a special gift for communicating the
often-mystical ways of our Creator through his music, you
can see Devin’s heart in the way he loves people. His
favorite moments are spending time "just listening" as a
Pastor shares his vision for his beloved church or lamenting
the challenges of ministry, or just talking to someone after an
event who "just needed to be reminded of the love and
nearness of God" in their own personal life.
A Heritage of Faith
Some would say that ministry is part of Devin's pedigree.
As a pastor's son, he knows first-hand the pressures and
demands that ministers face while trying to shepherd a
congregation. He began at a young age ministering in the
local nursing home and his father's churches in Florida
and Ohio, and as a teenager, he began earning a reputation
for being an anointed, exceptional vocalist. This amazing
tenor began wowing audiences with his silky, passionate
vocals and in 1992, Devin took first place as a male soloist
at the National Assemblies of God Fine Arts Festival.
To everyone watching, Devin’s calling was obvious.

The Journey Begins
He began touring in Evangel University’s highly-acclaimed ensemble, Frontline, as a freshman in college and in 1994, he and fellow ensemble-member Michael Neale moved to Nashville and signed their first recording contract. A year later, they debuted as Neale & Webb with their first CD, “At the Cross.” Five years later, Devin began his solo career with “Healing Waters” and in 2002, he finished his most recent project, “Fly.”
Sitting in his living room, reflecting on this record, you can tell that making this latest project has been a thrilling and humbling experience for Devin. With conviction in his voice, Devin relates, “The thing I love about this project is the spirit of the songs. They really are the truest reflection of my heart and passions to date and we captured an element of pure worship that I love. This record is by far my personal favorite of the recordings I've done.”
Spreading His Wings
Week after week, month after month, year after year, Devin has been used by God as a conduit of love, grace and mercy to pastors, lay leaders and “every day people.” His ministry has developed a reputation for its cross-cultural, cross-generational appeal and he has traveled internationally for missions, ministering to tens of thousands of people all over the world, and he works full time with OneHope (formerly Book of Hope). He and his wife, Ashley, reside in Florida with their two children, Sadler and Sterling.
